THE STORY OF RUNE AND LIGHT
Hand-crafted jewelry, made-to-order in Macon, Georgia—merging vintage nostalgia with modern beauty.
Meet our Founder
“I founded Rune and Light after I discovered a hidden love for metal-smithing. I have always been the artistic-type. Growing up, I always said that I wanted to be an artist. But even though I always knew I was a creative at heart, I found myself in your traditional corporate career. As you can imagine, that, when paired with the fact that my spouse is in the military, made it very difficult to find my place in the 9-5 lifestyle. My heart was always pulled in a different direction.
After taking a metal-smithing class at the Honolulu Museum of Art, I had found my passion. Rune and Light has traveled the country with me–from Georgia to Texas to Hawaii, and then back to where it all began.
I want my pieces to feel effortlessly attractive, easy to slip into everyday, and like they are customizable to everyone; regardless of size, age, or personal style. Rune and Light was created for women to find and embrace their sense of natural femininity, whatever that looks and feels like for them.
As Rune and Light has grown, one thing has remained true–our pieces are created by hand, for the chic, the stylish, the bold, and the classic. You being here means the world to me. Thank you.”
We source our materials in the United States to ensure quality control, and our pieces are made to order at our home studio in Georgia. Not only does this allow us to guarantee excellence in our work, but it also means that we can offer a broad size range in all of our pieces.
Every Rune and Light piece is designed to be an instant classic–at once feeling on-trend and timeless. We are inspired by personal style, vintage nostalgia, and modern edginess. When treated with care, our pieces will become everyday wardrobe essentials that never go out of style.
